For any who pray for me, I thought it important to put a quick update here concerning the disgraceful shipping saga with the US I’ve fallen victim to.

Over the past couple of weeks, I, and my dear Australian friend Ian, who lives in the States, have been lied to ‘at will’ by not only the moving company, to whom I paid US$3950 (approx. £2600) to ship some of my possessions back from the USA, but also by others on the periphery of the saga. The final lie came from the owner of the moving company who assured everyone that he’d wired the payment, albeit 4 weeks late, to the actual shippers. He hadn’t.

The company holding my goods in storage in Liverpool, are charging £156 a DAY, so up to and including today, that’s £3900, all because of the behaviour of the moving company.

So, from this morning, US time, legal proceedings will be in place to sue the company, and a number of individuals involved in this whole despicable saga. I’ve had to pay the US based shipping company (not the company against whom the writ is issued!) again today, $2180 (about £1500), and once they have received my wired money, they should be able to get my possessions released from the storage company before they throw them all away! I then have to pay the storage company: so I’d value your prayers, as today I’m looking for at LEAST £5300 I don’t have!

Prayer, prayer, prayer, please: also for my health, as the stress of this is noticeably affecting me: perhaps the fact that I really don’t want to eat could turn out to be a weight-loss blessing….!!

Too right I’m going to make the enemy pay for this…. roll on next week and preaching!!!
