When my dear friend, Simon Allaby, asked me to speak at this day-long conference, I was a both blessed and reticent. Even now, after : almost 30 years of doing this ‘stuff’, I still, very often, feel particularly ‘ill-equipped’ to speak to others, let alone leaders: but when Simon sent me the ‘brief’ for the day, last week, I have had since then a rising sense of excitement about the day. I originally put in my diary on here that it was Tuesday: my apologies – it Is Wednesday, 19 June: St Andrews Church, Furnace Green, Crawley RH10 6NU
There are two sessions in the morning, beginning at 9.30 a.m. , through until after lunch together, at 2 p.m., and then an open meeting to everyone, at 7.30 p.m. In the first morning session, Si wants me to tell healing stories (that made me feel a bit more secure straight away!), and about praying with authority for healing. The next session is dealing with people who are not healed, or, perhaps, don’t appear to be healed: and why people hold back in prayer for fear ‘it might not work’….
‘Go with your heart’ is Si’s instruction for the evening, and, having seen some amazing healings in the UK in recent weeks, (see elier posts here), and in Europe – yes, as well as Australia & Colombia!! – I have a rising sense of anticipation for the whole day.
If you are a church leader/spouse, you’re very welcome at 10.15 a.m. on Wednesday, at St Andrews Church, Furnace Green, Crawley RH10 6NU. Info from Simon 07837 637113.
The open meeting is the same venue, and will begin with coffee at 7.15 p.m., and time to pray with people afterwards for as long as it takes!
