To all of you who read my ramblings here – thank you! – and I wish you all – those who love me, those who like me, those who put up with me, and those who have chosen the other alternative to friendship – a very blessed Christmas, a time of laughter, fun, joy, peace, and happiness.
2013 has been the quickest year on record, of that I’m sure: it’s only had about 8 months in it, it seems….which sort of suggests that time is getting short, and whilst the Bible doesn’t mention ‘End Times’, it does talk of ‘Last Days’, and so, as we move relentlessly towards 2014 (which, if I’m right above, is in about 4 days time!!!), I pray that it will be a year that redefines your goals, your dreams, your visions, and a year that takes you on a journey that you’d never dream possible, even in your wildest imagination. For some, that will be an acceleration of what you’ve been doing, for others, a kick start, and for others, still, a 180 degree move, directed by God, into things that you thought you’d never see, achieve, become, or even believe.
And as we move into that year, and see God stretch us, sometimes (it might seem) beyond our understanding, comfort zones, and more especially beyond our own ‘self-imposed’ limitations, enjoy the ride, and be prepared that there’s an enemy who’s not going to like where you’re going, what your doing & achieving, and will batter you at times…but He who is IN you is greater than he who is in the world, and you’ve ALREADY beaten him, courtesy of the the amazing Son of God, who we celebrate today. It’s when the enemy DOESN’T better you that you need to be worried…. 🙂
Happy Christmas, my friends, and I’d love to hear your 2014 stories as they unfold! Thank you again for blessing me as some of you do, I can’t tell you what it means to me.
