You might recall that on 21 December, I wrote here that I’d had the privilege of praying for a young Afghan newly married asylum seeker, in Sweden. Her name (I know it now – couldn’t remember it then!) is Raheema, and she’d just that day been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Raheema is a Moslem, and as I prayed she felt a ‘power-surge’ through her body that carried on after the phone call had ended.
My lovely friend Maria – she and her husband Bjorn look after countless asylum seekers and illegals in Sweden (illegal, often, because of circumstance, like a young man I’ll be praying with there, over the phone, very soon – a family feud, and he’d been shot a number of times) – just called me, and she was with Raheema.
Raheema has just got the result of scans since being prayed for, and she is totally, utterly healed….astonishingly blessed, and I asked Maria to pass on to her the truth that Jesus really loves her, and,of course, it was Him who healed her…. she was deliriously happy!
I’ve had a diary change coming up – it looks like I’ll be going to Australia not in March: maybe in May, so I’m now going to Sweden in March, possibly from 16-30, though that leaves me little time before heading to Colombia on 3 April….
….but that might not be such an issue, as it seems that God is doing things in my knees, after so much praying over 10 years (right knee) and 4 years (left)! A friend of my mate, Mark (who went to France with me in December), who is doing the School of Supernatural Ministry, in north Kent, prayed for me via Skype a couple of days ago: Sasha had just prayed for a colleague of her, who had no cartilage in his knee, and when he was scanned prior to surgery, lo and behold, there was cartilage!
I’m actually due to see an Orthopaedic Surgeon next Thursday, 23 January: I’m going through with the appointment as I want to be able to tell her that my pain has gone….so maybe you’d join your prayers with mine, Sasha’s, and countless others, that my testimony next week will be like Sasha’s colleague….
And THANK YOU GOD for healing Raheema. Julian Friday, my lovely pastor friend in Plymouth, a 20 year-long MS sufferer, you next…..
