What an incredible 3 weeks this has been. It ran out of superlatives a long time ago, and even if I could think of others, yesterday would have ensured I couldn’t think of one that even began to do justice to what God did in the afternoon…..

Gerard, Elisa, and Lydie have gone now: I have a quick trip to the city centre to make, and then the lovely Wilmar Gomez comes to take me to the airport at 6 pm (its 12.30 pm now). I’ve doubtless said this before, but normally, in the last couple of days of a trip, I find myself thinking … ‘the day after tomorrow I’ll be home’, then ‘tomorrow…’ – but Cali is the one place where I’m always sad to leave, but deposits for the apartment have been paid to the very kind, friendly owner, Alberto, for trips in June/July, and October/November, so that makes the leaving a little easier….so I’ll be back, all being well, in 65 days!

I’m not going to try and summarise the trip yet, it would be impossible to as so many amazing things happened. And it was a tremendous team, bearing in mind 4 nations – Mexico, France, Holland, and the United Kingdom – being represented, none of them knowing the other until they arrived, so thank you, Beny Osorio, Chris Spark, Lydie

(I still don’t know her family name!), Danny Ortiz, Gerard and Elisa Noel Zeitjens, you made this trip so ‘easy’ even though it’s the biggest ‘team’ I’ve brought here for a good number of years. And very special thanks to Pastor William Castaño Baron, and Pastor Wilmar Gomez for such a brilliantly organised programme,ahead of my arrival, and for the gentleness and humility in both of you, that removes any potential stress, and that left us just to do ‘God stuff’ rather than being stressed about time, pickups, arrivals…

And thank you, Father God, Jesus, and you, astonishing Holy Spirit, for doing what you do best – changing lives, performing miracles, healing bodies, minds, and hearts. And for using me, East-Ender jobsworth, and my lovely team. And thank YOU, who’ve prayed, written, encouraged, and blessed me, and read my waffling here. Well over 2,000 hit the blog this trip….

So, I fly out, if on time, at 10.10 tonight, Tuesday, and arrive, all being well, in my house at about 10 am Thursday. Lord, that upgrade would be nice from Cali to Madrid….:)
