It was a real blessing to be asked to speak at St Hilda’s last night. I talked earlier in the week about the miraculous healing of Glynis, the Vicar, David Boyland’s, wife: it was so good to see them both again. Our previous time together had been not long after Glynis was home from hospital: the only other time prior to that had been when she was IN the Royal Hospital, which had been her ‘home’ for 18 months, because of the virus – or whatever it was – that had affected her whole food processing system, and turned flesh into the ‘quality’ of rice paper…
So last night was the first time I’d ever seen Glynis well, and she most certainly has got her life back, after God’s wonderful intervention. So, there was a good crowd there last night, people from other churches, too, and the worship was led by my good friend, Paul Shields, a lovely ‘platform’ to speak from.
So many people came for prayer…! It was wonderful, though it meant a long wait for some, and the prayer time was a good 2½ hours! Many prayed for felt change beginning to happen, no instant ‘eureka’ miracles, but it was so evident the Holy Spirit was doing his stuff in many people. The first couple Ronnie and Janece, were simply lovely: though Janece is – humanly – desperately ill with cancer, which began in her breast, and had, according to the specialists, spread considerably, including hot spots on the liver…. I think we all knew that God had begun the process of removing that foul disease, and Janece felt ‘different’ when she stood up.
I’m back there tomorrow morning, and I’m in real expectation that there will be testimonies: some I believe, of total healing, and others in process. It’d be better not to go down a list of names, etc., in this blog: better saved until tomorrow, when the reality is testified to!
