It’s good to be home!!! It truly does feel like coming home when I come to the state of Cauca, Colombia – and especially Cali: having not been for a year, I feel like I’ve been AWAY on a ministry trip, and I’m now back with my family… the friendships, the welcomes, the greetings, the feel of the city, the taxis, and the excitement, looking at the schedule of meetings, and seeing and hearing of some of the wonderful things Thanney will be able to do, as well as him see the miracles that he’s wanting -as are al of us – to see more and more – is really inexplicable. You have to come here to feel it….
Kicking off tomorrow in my best mate’s Wilmar’s church, Mision El Abrigo Iternational, which was planted by my 20 year long friends Hein and Teija Hoere, couldn’t be a better introduction. Adrian Curry is going to preach, but I won’t be able to resist a greeting – well, someone has to introduce the new boys!! – and then in the afternoon, preaching in Siloe, one of the exciting danger hot-spots of the city – a first for me in 19 years!
We so covet your prayers for an outpouring of God’s miracle and saving power. Thank you for praying for us.
I’m really looking forward to the trip and I’m not even going. It will be hugely blessed and leave the beautiful fragrance of Jesus wherever you go. Enjoy it.
