A God who is faithful, who more than keeps his promises, and who has ‘kept’ me for that amazing amount of time – salary-less, homeless but for his provision, and celebrating the most phenomenal number of miracles, healings, and salvation he’s done in those years. I feel in awe that tomorrow is 40 years since the first tentative, scared, somewhat panic-stricken leap of faith from a career into….the best career I could ever have had. From a few friends in England, then, to thousands of friends all over the world, from a good salary to….God’ amazing provision.
And the future is brighter still as I move – God and finance willing! – into North Kent, to a church that is so special, to be with people who will be ‘willing’ me to succeed and see God do more and more and more through this cockney boy who never dreamed 40 years ago that any of it would be possible….
A happy new year to everyone who loves me, cares for me, prays for me, supports me, or even dislikes me – may this year be filled with fulfilled dreams, the joy, love, power, and presence of Jesus in every area of your lives, ministry, and health. God bless you outrageously as only he can!
