Action of the week, from Dennis:  having supper the other night (the leftovers of Saturday’s breakfast – cold sausages and bacon sandwiches) – I was sitting next to Dennis as he meticulously laid the sausages on his bread, and proceeded to cover them with strawberry jam. I asked him if that was someweird ritual from the USA (like peanut butter and jelly – also known as jam most other places!!) – no, it’s tomato ketchup, he replies quite confidently, with it’s appearance most certainly being strawberry jam….and it’s taste the same, out of a squeezy bag…. So, a new dish is born here in La Bochalema, Cali – sausage and strawberry jam sarnies….
