The drive from Örebro to Borås isn’t particularly long, about 3 hours, but it was made very ‘interesting’ by the incredible winds blowing across the open countryside! I guess it helped my foot on the accelerator, as the speed limit enforcement here, I think, is considerably tighter than back in the UK! It was an experience, on many occasions, passing huge double-trailer trucks wobbling all over the place. Fortunately, the ‘promised’ (weather men!) snow didn’t materialise.

And so here I am in Boras, in the south west of Sweden, to be with dear friends Bjorn & Maria Isacsson. And a ‘waiting room’ full of people to pray for! One lady, Lotte, who should be dead with lung cancer – no, she’s never been a smoker –  and thankfully isn’t, arrive with perhaps the worst cough I’ve ever heard, and breathing with incredible difficulty. After some time chatting with, between coughing bouts, the cough had all but disappeared after prayer, and her breathing remarkably easier. And a lovely colour back to her face, nice pink cheeks! Thank you Lord! My prayer was that God would blow his breath in through her nostrils, right through her respiratory systems, and replace the lungs with new ones from his spare part warehouse… She’s due for an MRI scan next Wednesday…. c’mon God! 🙂

A dear lady, Kristin, was in extreme pain head to foot, suffering from osteoporosis – incurable, and virtually unmanageable, even with massively strong medication. She has an appointment for scans and then prescriptive drugs early in April. She looked so ‘drawn’ with the pain. The change in her face and demeanor was so tangibly noticeable: and she left looking – and seeming – a different person….

A lovely ‘christian in waiting’, Peter, suffering from fairly advanced Parkinson’s disease, shaking, fear in his face, came with his wife. I understood his problem of being shy, having been there myself for many years, and was equally balanced in his belief in science & Hawking, and God….I think it’d be fair to say that God won the day! Chatted to him and his wife Karin, for some time, before praying for him, I just wanted to build a ‘bridge’ of friendship and trust between us. As Maria & I prayed, his shaking stilled, tears came, and the wonderful hug that he gave me, was lovely, and the peace that came over him was so, so special.

And there were more…. Maria herself has lymphatic cancer, incredible faith: with her, and others, only time and scans/tests will tell. Bjorn & Maria’s lovely daughter, Kristin, has a great boyfriend, Andreas: he had a terrible break in his arm when he was 8: yesterday, his arm and wrist put up some opposition – he can’t turn his left wrist and hand flat (i.e. palm up) because the bones had to be reset in a certain – but ‘design plan’ – wrong way. I’m on his case…. it ain’t resisting for much longer, especially as later this year, he and Kristin hope to go out to the ministry school in Pemba, Mozambique for a couple of months, maybe more long term ultimately, with the amazing Rolland & Heidi Baker: maybe it’s just my competitive edge that would to see him go HEALED and not get healed when he gets there! I love Rolland & Heidi: I had such a blast on the ministry team with them when they were last in Ireland, so ?I wouldn’t be jealous if Andreas DID get healed there, honest!!! But he’s a carpenter, loves his job, and is in constant pain, so sooner rather than later would be better!

Sunday, a stange thing happened in Örebro (I’ve found all the symbols for the names here!! yeah!!!!), in that message went out, urgently, that the water was contaminated, and not to drink it. I got the news just after I’d cleaned my teeth in beautifully cold water, and drunk at least 10 handfuls of it, as Vello knocked on the door saying ‘Don’t drink the water!’… Yesterday, Ingalill felt it was like a prophetic  ‘statement’ ocurring, as it did, during a great weekend. Here’s how ‘Bing’ transladted the Swedish – part of her insight:

• When I cleaned off the hook after this morning’s breakfast with Vello and Paul Bennison began God’s spirit speaking to my heart ang water tower. Sometimes when things in the natural place, so it can also point to something (a State might) that exist in the spiritual. The water has become defiled because a lekage from a toilet in the Tower’s restaurant, where it has been said that “it has dropped” from the toilet. Suddenly, I sense how the spirit of God wanted to show and tell me how it can “drop negative words that pollute” my heart and as dirty my inner world and prevents the crystal clear stream flowing fresh and clear out of my mind. Negative words about myself, about others, about leaders, for context, well the list goes on and on, up impurity from the inside out.

  I experienced something strange seen also how this is associated with the meetings we’ve had this weekend with Paul Bennison. This has been a weekend where the TESTIMONY of God’s mighty power has been the key, and it created faith and great joy in all our hearts when we listened to Paul, and people this weekend have themselves experienced God’s healing power!! I was wondering about how this water tower could have something to do with the weekend and then suddenly I was reminded of what exodus 15: 22-27. THE BITTER WATERS OF MARAH AND HOW IT WAS SWEET! Moses threw a kind of wood in the water and it was sweet (a model of Christ’s cross), and it is especially verse 27 that talk about how absolutely crucial it is for us to live in obedience and transfer to the word of God because in that there is the promise of healing and healing!!
