Last night’s church – ‘Misionera Hay una luz’ (Mission ‘There is light’) is led by a lovely lady, and a predominantly women team of leaders, ghtforward – cataractso different, to say the least. A good crowd, Danny spoke, and more or less organised the ministry from the front, calling people forward with different illnesses, so the ministry time by-passed most of us, a somewheat different style to mine, so I don’t really know what happened to who in terms of healing! I did get to pray for one lovely blind lady, who’d gone in for minor – and should have been straight forward – cataract surgery, that had gone badly wrong some 4 years ago – and came out totally blind. I’d love to say that she saw instantly: I can’t, but she believes she’d heard God say that her sight would come back in stages.
Maybe one of those stages was last night, as she say light and three distinct colours, for the first time.
This morning, Ana Beiba: always wonderful, always emotional, always a blessing! – then this afternoon, some street ministry with people living rough, and finally, a meeting this evening in Palmira, about 45 minutes north of Cali.
Busy day ahead, most of it emotionally draining! Personally, I’d value your prayers, as, a couple of days ago, on one of the (myriad!) uneven pavements here, I stubbed my toe against a steel bar sticking out of the ground, and jst slightly…only slightly… tweaked my knee. But a slight tweak alone is a fairly major disaster in the knock on effects! I’m not letting it stop me though….
