When I posted here at the weekend, I mentioned, among some of the wonderful thins that God did, a lovely couple, Ronnie & Janece. J needed help to walk as she came in, and then when she came for prayer Friday night. The post here on Sunday told of the amazing changes that had occurred in the day and a half….
Well, last night, I received an email: this is what it said….
- We have both been thinking of you today and how God has brought you into our path, you’ve been a real blessing. It is amazing how God has been working through you to touch others in miraculous ways as we can testify. We will be praying for your ministry as you serve the Lord.
Janece has come on leaps and bounds from the way she was feeling on Friday before the healing service, she still has a challenge following the operation on her back and has been experiencing pain in the lower back and right sciatica area. We are believing God’s word and not the doctor’s report and we will be asking for another scan. Please continue to pray for the full manifestation of God’s word in Janece’s body.
This is a lady who was desperately ill: a lady to whom doctors had said to her and Ronnie, that there was nothing more they could do for her. You may think I’m a bit strange here (just here, did I hear you say??!) but it’s when people have been taken to that point by the limitations of medical intervention, had – effectively – words of curse and death spoken over their lives – that I love it, because THEN the glory CAN only go to Jesus…..
I’m gearing up for a few ‘preaches’ in England: thankfully, I checked my flight times earlier, as in my head I was catching a flight mid-evening, only to discover I have to be at the airport for 7.15 a.m!!!! It’s the NEXT flight from here, 3 July en route to Cali, that it’s mid-evening. Duuuhhh!!!
So, my lacksadaisical approach to today and tomorrow has gone up a gear or two, as I have a day less! With the story of Janece so fresh in my mind, I’m looking forward to the meetings in England…. 🙂
