I had a message at 0240 this morning (UK time) from Sergey. The spiritual battle going on for Sergey’s life is immense. That he’s alive is a miracle, but Svetlana said in this morning’s message that he seems to be getting weaker. A friend in Melbourne had a picture a couple of weeks ago of the heavenly angel battling the demonic ‘angel’ (a real Ephesians 6 epic): it seems to me that as the battle is still on, it suggests that God doesn’t intend for Sergey to ‘go home’ yet, but understandably, the ‘wait’ is taking its toll on Svetlana….

Please pray for them both, and of course, Mary, their lovely 11 year old daughter, who is also experiencing this ‘war’ first hand. I remember only too well when, as a 12 year old, my dad died: there was no one in that ‘era’ who even THOUGHT about praying for the sick, let alone getting stuck in with the battle!

I still sense that God has a great destiny for this couple, which is why the battle is so tough….
