Some of you will know that I often wondered if maintaining my website was worthwhile…. I really did, genuinely, in my insecurity, think that very few people really bothered to read the posts: one of my main reasons for finally caving in, seven years ago, and HAVING a website, was only because I wanted people to read some of the amazing things that God IS doing through a totally unworthy, initially unwilling, and relatively insecure mortal, like me… I’ve always preferred to stay ‘under the radar’: I’m genuinely not fussed about having ‘big’ platforms (three times I could have spoken to tens of thousands in recent years) or even big churches, as my ‘style’ is to pray for people, individually, and connect – at least – and get to know them a little, before praying.
Well, Lee’s new incarnational website for me has a hit counter…. it’s 23 days since the new site was up and running: and the hits, so far, are 2,711. I’m totally flabberghasted (probably more of the flabber than the ghasted, I hear you say!), so – thank you! Thank you for reading it: thank you for the nice comments about it, and hopefully, as I get more used to it, it will only get better and better, and hopefully, too, the stories will get more and more astonishing!!
