Hi Paul, it’s Dave and Margaret the champs. Here is some great news from the conference in 2014. Eileen a lady with failing sight was prayed for by you. ( she came over with us from England with her husband Roger.)Paul, you apparently said that you should pray for the more damaged eye. Eileen had an operation on the other eye to have a cataract removed with the expectation of improved peripheral sight. However, she sees better now than for previous 10 years even reading again. Her testimony is wonderful and she is believing for her sight to improve according to your prayer. So be encouraged brother even when fruit takes a while to arrive. Much love Dave 15 July 2015
Hi been reading your blog hope you are getting better fast! Just thought I would let you know the little boy, Sam you prayed for in Wellington at kings church who didn’t speak and started speaking after prayer ( don’t know if you remember?) anyhow his end of school year report, he is now 8 years old was all good apart from one problem….. He talks too much!!! Made me chuckle, and thank god. Xx

This was about 5 years ago you prayed for him. (Scroll down about 5 years and you’ll find the original message!!)
Testimonies from Lainie & Gavan Murphy, forwarded to me by her Pastor, my friend Marco D’Angelo, from Cornerstone Church, Doreen, Victoria, Australia:
Hi Paul,
I trust you are well and that the pain has subsided in your knees?
May the Lord of heaven and earth bless you abundantly for praying in faith for Gavan and myself in our time of need.
I faced the weeks of severe attack from the devil (for he comes to steal, kill and destroy) with quiet confidence and deep faith because I know God is bigger than anything we face and that you were praying for us.
Gav has continued to improve slowly each day from Typhoid (that he first contacted in the first week of February in the Philippines,) although he is still weak and tires easily and his bowel actions are still not normal.
Praise the Lord the disease has not reoccurred and there have not been any nasty complications from the disease in his major organs of which we were warned could easily occur. 20% of people who contact Typhoid die from the disease or complications.
He has been back at work for over two weeks now but sadly his employment has just been terminated.
Paul as you may recall I was having a D+C on the 6th of March to confirm cancer of the uterus.
My doctor, the doctor who writes the report (from the ultrasound images taken by the sonographer), and my gynaecologist, were very concerned that I had cancer because of the symptoms of post menopausal bleeding at my particular age and the ultrasound report which revealed extensive and a very thick layer of hyper plasia and a polyp/ fibroid.
It was mentioned several times by my gynae’ that I would require a radical hysterectomy and chemo’ therapy shortly after the D+C and biopsy confirmed cancer.
I am very grateful to God to report that not one cancer cell was found.
As a preventative measure into the future, my gynae’ wants to treat me with progesterone and follow up with regular ultrasounds.
Paul, my gynae’ and my doctor were absolutely shocked with the pathology report from the operation on the 6th and at the same time so relieved and delighted for me.
I realized at that moment how hard it must be for caring dedicated doctors to watch their patients go through all the suffering of cancer.
I will pray for them.
You are a very precious man of God and I am so grateful Pastor Marko arranged for us to meet you.
Much love in Him, in whom we live and move and have our being.
Yes Paul, you may post what you think is relevant to a testimony which glorifies God.
Lainie Murphy, Doreen, Victoria, Australia – received 1 April 2014
John, not too sure how to put this on Paul’s website as I’m not too au fait with the internet. If Paul would like to put this on his website he is very welcome to do so.
“On March 8th at Seaford, following the evening meeting, Paul asked for people to go forward for prayer. Paul was already praying with someone next to him, so I sat quietly beside Paul and waited. He turned to me and asked me to pray for the person with him. It seemed the most natural thing to do and as I extended my hand to pray, before I said a word, I felt all the pain leave my body. I did not realise how much pain I had been in – back, arms, shoulders, legs, hips and feet. Paul then prayed and sealed the healing work of Jesus in my body.”
Hi Paul,
Life has held some enormous challenges for me since we met at Marko’s and Alisha’s in Doreen, Victoria, Australia. Please forgive me for the late testimony.
· Since you prayed for me I have not torn one muscle and strength has been gradually returning to my body.
· The third stage of rosacea has almost completely disappeared and rosacea is supposed to be incurable.
Paul, I just want to say what a privilege it was to meet you and it was such a delight to pray with you and the others.
Praying for the sick and believing for miracles has been a part of my ministry for most of my life.
I thank God for you and the glorious gifts; of faith, healings, miracles and raising the dead and that you operate in.
Lainie Murphy, Doreen, Australia
Back on September 28, I posted this message, from a lady, ‘D’ who wanted to remain anonymous…..
From Robert Hall: Paul, this is from one of the many shoulder people we prayed for.
Hey Rob, I have some extraordinary news. The MRI I had showed that I’d torn my tendon off the bone which meant I’d be in a sling for 6 weeks with months of rehab but when I had it op’d on yesterday the tendon was only frayed from a bone spur in my shoulder which means a sling for only a week & then it’ll be ok. The surgeon couldn’t explain why the MRI was different to how the shoulder actually was & I’ve just realised I think it was due to Paul. So I just wanted to say BLESS YOU for without you I would not have this wonderful outcome, you made me let go & let God & I can’t thank you & Paul enough. Please let him know. D
Yesterday, I wrote and asked her how it was doing and WAS the sling only a week….? Here’s my message and her reply:
Hi D! Just wondering how your shoulder is doing after your doctor’s surprise a couple of weeks ago! Are you sling-less yet? Still praying for it! Love Paul
D: It’s doing very well, was out of the sling within a few days just had to wear it if I was out & about. I’ve told everyone about you & how you fixed it & they all look at me like I’m mad. Went for post-op check up yesterday & told surgeon about you & he also said it was definitely the scan that was wrong. I don’t care I’m a believer, you are awesome & have renewed my faith. Take care & thanks once again. All the Best, D
Two surgeons trying to explain away miracles! I LOVE it!!! ‘The MRI was different’ (LOL!!) and ‘The scan was wrong!’. If that’s the case, it doesn’t exactly give you a lot of faith in a scan if it can be wrong – so….we’re moving into a generation where it’s far, far safer, and much more reliable, to pray, and let God do it!!!
When I was in Melbourne in February, Robert – an ultra-marathon runner as you might remember (ultra, I understand, is any race double and more an ordinary marathon – mad fools!) – asked if we could go and pray for a running friend of his, Michelle. Michelle is super-fit, like me, of course(!), and as well as being a long-distance runner, is an avid cyclist – a fast one, not the sort that make me want to drive at them! It would be impolite of me to hazard a guess at Michelle’s age – but I’d imagine, at least Robert’s age (37), so not a ‘teenager’ who might ‘mend’ quicker….if mending quickly from the astonishing list of injuries she had, was possible anyway.
Michelle had been in a really serious accident. On a major road in Melbourne, at a busy time, she was on her bike when a car pulled out of a side-street in front of her. She went over the bonnet (hood) and landed very badly, breaking her neck. Doctors had said her recovery would be extremely long, and gave all sorts of other prognoses that many people, Christians included, would have taken ‘on board’, and – when you take diagnoses and prognoses as ‘gospel truth’ (because they’re spoken by doctors), invariably they become self-fulfilling.
I don’t think I’d be doing Michelle a disservice to say that she wasn’t then a ‘believer’ in God, BUT was very open to have Robert (whom she knew of course) and the unknown fat bald Pom, go to the house she shares with her great partner, to pray for her. She was out of hospital much quicker than the docs expected (!), with a very strong collar, plus one of those ‘funnel-like’ collars…. much pain because of the neck, and also because of lots of cuts and bruises. The prognosis, if I remember, was the collar for some months, then a load of traction, physio: likely scenario, a very long time before ultra-marathons again…. but even when we went, she was walking around, albeit slowly….
I’d hoped I might get to see her and Graham (I think? is her partner…) when I was in Melbourne in September, but it didn’t work out (next March will have to do!).
BUT….on October 3, Robert & I got this amazing letter from Michelle, via Facebook:

Hi Rob and Paul,
I’ve been meaning to write to you both for ages to let you know what your visit did for me. But I don’t think I realised until today the true impact on my life of the accident and your visit.
Things have been happening in the last 7 months since the accident.
I apologise if Im rambling but I’ve just been out for a run, had a major breakthrough and my thoughts are running all over the place.
Firstly let me say I’m so very sorry to have missed seeing you this time Paul. Things just didn’t align for me.
But let me go back to when I first went back to work after the accident. I don’t think I’d ever really dwelt on how close to dying I was, nor had I thought much about why I might have been saved. However, after being back at work for about 2 weeks and finding I had a renewed love and appreciation for my job, I had a beautiful experience where a man who I had been looking after for a couple of days was going home the next day. He spoke hardly any English at all but we had muddled through. I went in to say goodbye to him as I was leaving for the night and he grabbed my hand with both of his and said thank you…..it was at that point I felt this overwhelming thought like someone was telling me “this is what I was saved for, to help make my patient’s lives just that little bit easier.’ It was a truly amazing feeling and I have carried that with me ever since. Without bragging, I seem to have a gift for being able to develop a rapport with my patients.
As time as gone by I’ve found every day that I might ask God, the universe, I don’t know who, for small things……a shift change that I need, help to understand a problem, to find something lost…..whatever it is, I seem to be recieving divine help on a daily basis. Am I making sense? (Paul – too right you are, Michelle!!!). Probably not, but what I’m trying to say is that I think you both, with your prayers and touch, opened up a whole new spiritual world for me and for that I thank you.
I find myself thanking God/the universe every day and for every small request that is granted, I make an effort to thank and acknowledge that I am being blessed.
I have to tell you a funny story……last weekend I was running in Adelaide, (7 months after a broken neck!), an event that was my goal from the time of my accident. I was having a ball, I felt great, running well and loving being alive. As I was belting down a particularly rocky descent I realised how good I felt and I thought it was a great time to tell God about my thankfulness. So I’m belting down thanking God for keeping me alive, for making me feel so good and for allowing me to comeback and run as well as I was…..when bang….over I went on my ankle….so now I’m yelling at God saying WTF, I was being grateful!!! But my anger was short lived and I was back smiling in no time.
Anyway, this is quite long winded so I’ll just finish by telling you the latest in this saga that is my life.
Yesterday I was with a solicitor who has seen 100’s of injuries like mine, and he essentially told me that he had never seen anybody who had recovered like I had. I didn’t really think much of it until today when I was out running and thinking about what he said and I realised that I have been truly blessed and saved, it was a very emotional feeling, I can’t explain it but the feeling of peace that settled on me was beautiful.
I truly believe that you both set me on a spiritual path that is a daily inspiration to me. Don’t get me wrong, I’m far from perfect, moody, grumpy, depressed sometimes, but slowly learning how much good there is in my life.
Before my accident I had been through some pretty tough times and some really dark places…….I now see the accident and broken neck, as a break with my previous life…….and a new beginning.
I have you two to thank for this. So thank you.
Michelle. xx
Wonderful…. Michelle, thank you so much for letting me put your story here. It’ll be on the ‘testimony’ tab, too (it gets lost very quickly as the blog keeps getting added to!
This Sunday, (I think it’s Sunday), Michelle is doing the Great ocean walk 100km trail race. the road Robert drove me down when I was in Melbourne. We drove, she’s doing it the hard way…. she’s nervous but exciting, right Michelle(??) and wondering if she’s ‘still got it’. I wrote a message to her today to say that God – when He’s involved (and he so clearly is in Michelle’s brilliant story), renews our strength (Isaiah 40:31) AND our youth (Psalm 103:5) – so, go flat out Michelle, YOU CAN DO IT!

Hi Paul Just letting you know that God released His healing power at the Thursday night prayer healing service. Two of our church members received a touch. Chris who was due for heart surgery was cleared. No need to unblock the arteries all healed. And Lainie who’s muscles were healed and no-longer tears. All praise to God.
James Hall, Melbourne, Australia
I can’t prove it but I am pretty sure my tibia is going to it’s normal shape, ie its healing/shrinking….I walked something like 15km at work over 13hrs (long day) and I’m fine.
James Hall, Melbourne, Australia
Just a bit of encouragement for you and Robert Hall . I went to physio today and he got to see how much the swelling dropped. I did a hard session on the stationary bike and I haven’t worn compression since Saturday . Normally my leg would be a balloon and I have data to prove it ( because I am an engineer) , also my leg doesn’t ache at night. Also the scar is concave rather than convex. Physio comment was whatever I did this week to keep doing it. Cheers
Just to put the above in context: August 2012, when I was in Melbourne, James was hit by a car whilst on his motorbike, his right knee totally smashed. Got to pray for him the morning after the night before… Doctors told him he’d be months before he could walk (it was days!). They pinned his knee, huge scarring, major league swelling. It went down, so then Docs told him he’d suffer with arthritis all his life. He hasn’t since: now they say there’s no sign of it…. leg still swelled, until prayer last week, scar very red and raised….

This is a brief message to tell you that my son M, aged 10, who was ministered to by Paul on Sat. night says he has been healed. He had been wetting his bed ever since he turned 6 when I thought I was encouraging him when I said to him he “was a big boy now”. But I think in his boy’s mind, he thought: “Daddy won’t care for me any more if I am big and independent”, so he started wetting his bed at that time. Now he says he is healed, and I’ve never seen him so confident about it. It’s still a bit early maybe, but I trust him, I trust the Lord and want to thank Paul for his prayer and care for Matthew. This is quite an adventure, for a 10-yr old French boy to be ministered to and prayed for by a guy who travels and preaches all over the world! Try to imagine! I think it made him feel very special. Thanks again, and thanks to Colin and Sue for staging that.
From Paul: on that same Saturday evening, Jean-Phillippe, who’d been my translator (and amazing he was, too!), was healed of long-term sinusitis, life-long bronchitis, and long-term knee pain!
Jean-Phillippe Roullier, France
Hi Yer, Just a very quick message. We heard this morning that Elizabeth is doing so well that she might be out of hospital and home either today or tomorrow. Praise God!! We will get to see her as soon as we can
From Paul: Elizabeth, who had been in the conference meetings Friday, was involved in a bad car-crash on the Saturday morning following: early reports were of major damage to her body. Monday we went to pray with her in hospital… the rest is above!

Hi Paul, just want to say a big ‘thank you’ for last weekend, great time all round – Izzy is still amazed about her feet!!
Paul Gilliver, Hinckley, Leicestershire
Hi Paul,
Its Jenny I met you at HBC on Sunday Izzy has been showing her feet to everyone at school today telling all about you. She says there getting better all the time.
Jenny Jordan, Hinckley, Leicestershire
From Paul: Izzy had been born with ‘splayed’ feet, teased all her life as a result, couldn’t put her knees together, and, as a result of her back issues, one leg was 3/4 inch shorter than the other (about 1.2 cms). With Matt, her youth leader (who’d just seen his own leg ‘lengthen’ by about an inch, she watched with astonishment as her leg ‘grew’… her feet position WOULD have excluded her from a singing competition (bizarrely – but I’m told position is important!), and now she’s healed.. and knees don’t knock, they’re in line…
Paul, I’m so excited by reading your blog, I think that I really must come with you on one of your trips somewhere, I’ve so much to learn. did you hear from Sonya, you prayed for her with some ovarian cysts or somehting – healed. Also the girl with non-Hodgkins lymphoma recently had a scan after 2 months chemo. Three large tumours all gone including one fist sixed one on her heart. Docs v surprised! Only going to do a few more chemos. Praise God! Much blessingto you. PS Enjoyed ‘Taken’, thanks. Please come again.

NEW!!
Firstly I am loving reading about all the healing taking place with you guys. It really inspires me to believe in healing for myself.
Secondly I think you might like this:
Back in may this year my wife and I found out we lost our first child through a missed miscarriage – this is where the body should have miscarried but missed the chance to do so. So we had to have a D & C Procedure. a couple of weeks later you were in causeway Coast Vineyard and we attended the healing service that night. On the night I was healed of a 16 year old rugby injury that was causing alot of pain in my shoulder. That night my wife also prayed that we would we would get pregnant again and not have to go through what we had just been through. She heard an audible voice tell her that we would get pregnant again and that everything would be fine. Just over a week later my wife had her period (this is quite important as the doctors etc always take the date of the last day of the period to determine the baby’s due date etc) Then in July we found out we were pregnant again. The dates were worked out from the last day of Janice’s period and it was determined we were 5 weeks pregnant. this was brilliant for us. Later on we went for what should have been our 12 week scan – it was approx. 12 weeks 6 days into the pregnancy. The doctor was doing the scan and he kept measuring the baby’s head over and over. Every time he did it the machine kept saying we were at least 14 weeks pregnant which was weird cause that would have meant we conceived BEFORE Janice’s last period. But it turned out we WERE 14 weeks pregnant and when we counted back the weeks it matches up perfectly with the night we were told we would get pregnant again and everything would be fine. We are now 22 weeks pregnant and everything is going smoothly.

When Paul said at our church camp, ‘There is only one way to deal with fear: to run at it and beat it, you can’t manage it’, he was describing exactly what I was doing in a battle with a fear of cancer that had been going on for 40 years. Now, through circumstances over which I had no control, I was being forced to face it. At the beginning of May this year (2011) I received an appointment for a routine screening for breast cancer. Suddenly I was catapulted into facing the fear that I had been trying to avoid for so long. The 3 weeks before the date were challenging, but did give plenty of opportunity to seek God and address issues. Whilst waiting for the results of the screening, I felt ‘hope’ rising, and I said to Henry ‘I’m alright, aren’t I? There isn’t anything wrong’. However, when I was called back to undergo further tests, I was plunged into the depths of fear and torment. But in the midst of it, I felt God tell me this was the last battle. I knew I had to look to Jesus moment by moment, and to choose constantly not to partner with fear.
The night before the second appointment, I asked God for a sign. I went into the garden and was greeted by an enormous rainbow that stretched right across the sky. I felt God say ‘I know that this is a big deal for you’.
The appointment the next day was not the last one. It turned out that there was another week of waiting before they could give me the results. I had more opportunity to trust and rest, and wait for the confirmation of what I was convinced of in my heart.
As we arrived at the car park barrier at the hospital, God said to me ‘You’ve faced this, and you’ve come out the other side’, and that was confirmed by the appointment, when the nurse said it was all good news.
Since then, I feel as if my life has been transformed. I have spent so long living in the shadow of fear: now it is time to really live!

Hi Paul. Of course I remember you. That was a very life-changing day for me, I’m sorry I never e-mailed the testimony of my experience to you, I really did mean to and my Mom asked me to at least 100 times. I can be a very private and shy person (sometimes), and it was just a hard thing for me to talk about. Weird, huh? One of the most amazing things that will ever happen to me, something most people will never be able to experience. (Paul – this was chronic scoliosis – curvature of the spine: very severe, to the point where J had been told it would be unlikely she’d ever be able to have children). I felt God’s presence enter my body and straighten my back, and I had a hard time talking about it for some reason. (Paul again – we both felt J’s spine moving as I had my hand on her back, all the discs & vertebra going back into place – it was astonishing). Not that I was ashamed, just shy, or I don’t really know!
When you posted on my dad’s wall tonight, I couldn’t help but think that maybe there was a bigger reason I never sent you an email so long ago, that maybe God had bigger plans for my experience. So if you don’t mind, I’d like to share it with you now 🙂
A year and a half ago I had a baby girl (our third child, we also have two boys). C was born very sick, but we didn’t find out until she was 10 days old, I realised something was wrong and I took her to the E.R.
To make a long story short, she was born with one kidney that was working overtime, the tube that flushes urine out expanded and it started going back into her kidney, causing an infection which spread to her urine, kidney, and blood, and hours away from spreading to her spinal fluid, which would have caused severe brain damage. She spent 4 days in intensive care while nurses worked round the clock to keep her alive. The first 24 hours were the worst of my life. It wasn’t until we got home from hospital that the magnitude of what had happened started to hit me. It crashed down on me in waves. I had a very trying year following her birth.
I’m sure you’re wondering what my being healed has to do with my daughter’s sickness, well it’s my faith. It was tested and stretched farther than I’d have ever imagined, and I would have turned my back on God, I would have walked away. I was so angry and upset so many times I was ready to be done. Even though my daughter is recovered fully and is a happy healthy girl, I couldn’t live with the fact I almost lost a child and that God almost let it happen.
But I kept going back to the moment when I felt my back straighten and the overwhelming feeling of awe I felt knowing that a miracle had just happened to me, that God had chosen to heal me.
Even though I was still angry, hurt, and confused, I couldn’t deny the realness of God. So I couldn’t deny him, and once I started to lean on him again, he started to show me how another miracle had happened with my daughter. He could have healed her instantly and that is what I was praying for around the clock in that hospital. I prayed for healing but I wanted it then and there! But I see now how he used the Dr. and nurses and medications for healing. His hand was in it every step of the way, so many amazing little miracles took place in that hospital one of the biggest ones being that my daughter experienced no side-effects from the strong antibiotics she was put on. One of them should have caused her to go deaf, that was one of the options I was given in hospital, have a deaf child or a dead child. But when she was 3 months old she had a hearing test and her hearing was above average.
I’m sorry for the long ramble, but I felt that now might be a good time to let you know how thankful I am that you came to our little church that day. God used you in such a way that altered the course of my life. It saved me, and when I doubted that God was real, when I was ready to be done with him, the memory of that day would slide front and center into my mind. And I am so thankful that you decided to follow the path that God laid out for you. Thank you again!

Hi there, Paul, it’s me Wilma. Just thought i would let you know that things have changed since you prayed for me. People have noticed a change in me – stuff like I’im smiling more ,a bit more chatty .I’ve even started wearing skirts, dresses and ladies tops. I went to the docs today and i asked if he would weigh me, he did and I got some really good news! I have actually lost weight (2 and a half pounds) in total. I’m still on my anti depressant tablets though the doc has doubled the dose but apart from that I’m doing good. How’s you?. God bless. Wilma Jane. March 2011
(Full name withheld by request)
From Martin Shiel, Edinburgh: Martin had two severely wrecked knee, had to wear a calf to thigh support on his right leg: cellulitis in right leg, too, and carried a wee bit more weight than he needed(!) – hadn’t climbed or descended stairs for over 7 years)
Martin Shiel 25 March 2011 Hi Paul, I hope you remember me. You prayed for me on the Sat night (Wellspring, Edinburgh) – as you know i walked up stairs properly for the first time in seven years. On the Sunday, you prayed for me again and yes i can walk downstairs and also i am losing the weight as all my trousers are to big for me so thank you and god bless you and all the good work you do in the lords name.
Martin Shiel, Edinburgh
(Love to hear of loose trousers – gives me even more hope for my own weight loss!!)
Tim, below, had suffered chronic migraines for many, many years, that frequently put him horizontal in dark rooms for days on end…
Now for some super encouraging news especially for you. Do you remember praying for me with Detling last August (2008)? Well the Lord in is infinite grace and mercy has heard those prayers. I have not had a migraine since!!!!!!!!!! After a life of headaches. It has made such a difference. I am so grateful to Him as after ( I guess) five years of going up to be healed – He has graciously released me. Of course it makes such a super testimony because people cant argue with someone who tells them that they were ill but now they are well “One thing I know that whereas I had been blind now I see” End of argument!!
So thank you for your faithfulness

Hi Paul,
i just wanted to update you on Sam,(3 year old who didnt speak,) who you prayed for at Kings in Wellington last year.
He saw his development consultant on Monday last week, she is amazed at the development in his speech in 6 months. He has gone from a child who could only say ‘eh’ for anything and everything to a child who is talking in sentences in less than 6 months.
He still has a few issues, but is now attending a mainstream playgroup and can get his point across when he needs too! i woke up this morning to hear my 2 boys playing together, Joe is 13, he was reading a book to Sam and he was chatting back saying words like crocodile……..amazing in such a short space of time. If i can sort it i will try to record the boys chatting and e mail it to you it is such a great sound from a child that 6 months ago professionals were saying might not ever speak.
thankyou for taking the time to pray with my family
Nicky Jenks, Wellington, England
I’ve known Gerry Page for 32 years (that’s the sort of thing I used to hear my grandparents and parents say, thinking ‘how old they are!!’). For 21 years, his lovely wife Merial has be incapacitated – let them tell you why, and what’s happened since we had a great time praying together!
“There were times in the 1st seven years when she (Merial) couldn’t walk across the room but that hasn’t been the case recently though she still couldn’t walk around a supermarket or more than 50 – 70 yards without great arthritic pain in her hip and knee joints that would last for days. She has osteoporosis as a result of the years she spent mostly bed bound. Walking with very painful joints for many years had caused problems with her back going out of line but as far as we know there was no scoliosis, though she does have three vertabrae at the top of the spine which are out of position. More recently the arthitis has spread to her hands, and she has had problems with pain in her shoulder (which we forgot to tell you had been healed!) We are just waiting on the completion of healing in her hands and hip and knee joints and neck but God is definitely doing something and we continue to walk on in it. Also before you prayed she was constantly taking pain killers to survive, but since then, although she is far from pain free she is managing without them which is totally amazing.
“Merial has noticed a significant difference since you prayed. We didn’t see totally healing with in the 21 hours as hoped but we have seen and she has felt some great changes. It seems like her spine has been straightened out, giving her a new posture. Something has changed in how she feels although she finds it difficult to explain what but knows something is happening. Today we have been to London with the children for the first time to visit the Science Museum and some of the famous sights, and Merial managed more walking than she has done in over 20 years. Although she had to use her wheelchair for a good part of the day she was able to get out and walk for fairly long periods of time and this evening is not suffering in the way we would expect. Tomorrow we are going for a walk on the downs as that is what she asked God for! Watch this space… “.
Work in progress… a wonderful story is unfolding. Don’t give up if you don’t receive the instant miracle… some miracles come slowly….

Deborah had a massive undiagnosable blood problem (non diagnosis can often be far more frightening than a serious diagnosis). Her platelet count was down way below danger levels (if I recall, 15000). Lisa was a victim of multiple sclerosis and acute depression. Both were on SERIOUS medication…. Here’s what Ian wrote to me:
I had 2 phone calls today – the first from Deborah Thompson who had just returned from the Doctor – her platelet count has jumped thro the roof to 160,000!!! She is ecstatic and giving praise and thanks and testimony……we continue to believe for complete deliverancec from diabetes and for her eyes to return to healthy 20/20 vision…
The second call was from Lisa Ellis – she called me from a car dealership to ask my advice on some car stuff…after about 20 minutes of working thro all this, I said ‘and how are you?’ She kind of calmly said – ‘well I’m off all medications, no ambien, no valium and I have this amazing energy…’!!! She sounded like a different women Paul – they are both walking and miraculous trophies of God’s incredible grace…
God is good, huh???!!!!

Hello brother!
You Prayed for my husbands brother Stefan Tiger (desperately ill with cancer of the liver, and elsewhere) when you where i Örebo, Mötesplatsen. He is now better but we must continue to pray for him. He was very sick and for at least three days he thow up everything he ate and drank, then suddenly he got better and we praise God for it!! We would be very thankfull if you would continue to pray for him.
God bless you

Thought I would update you with some encouragement and the continuing stories of when you were last here.
First of all the little boy Sam who couldn’t talk, well he is still talking, a lot and his mum gets quite tired with all the chatter!! I heard the other day from his mum that a week after he had been healed or released that he had an assessment from his speech therapist, who couldn’t quite believe it and actually asked “what has happened to him in the last week, it’s a miracle to which his mum told her what had happened.
The other story has really only come to light as far as I am aware since Christmas but is a result of your praying for a lady called Trish who had a bad back and had had it for about 15 years, so much so that she has been getting disability allowance for it. Well after you prayed for her, the next day or even the same day, she we for a run!!!!! which seemingly aggravated it and was quite bad for a few days. She persevered in her faith but not with the running and since then has made a complete recovery, so much so that today she has been to the hospital and got signed off after 15 years and it has gone on her notes that she was healed. The nurse was very interested to hear what had happened. Since she has been healed she has been able to do things that previously would have caused her some much pain but now does not have to worry. she has even been able to get a part time job and I beleive they have already done or are going to soon tell the benifit people about her healing and say that they will no longer be needing the disability allowance!! God is so good and you are such a blessing to be so open to Him. Hope this encourages you.

And the blessing multiplies….
Been finding this has all had a greater effect on us besides the continuing ‘Wow! Thankyou Lord!’ factor – I drove to see some clients the other day who live in a very small close which itself is just off the road. Normally I would have parked just out of sight in case they saw the car and it lowered my cred as a Financial Adviser. This time I made a point of parking right outside their gate and during the appointment I just felt SO much more relaxed confident even in talking about financial matters
To sum up how I /we feel right now – -YEEEHAH !
Roy (see below!) posted 10 January 2009
Healings are not always JUST physical… here’s a lovely story, received at the height of the ‘credit crunch’ from a man named Roy (and bear in mind that he is a Financial Consultant/Advisor specialising in mortgages and insurance, not the easiest of jobs to have when the economy has collapsed!). Roy & his family had really been afflicted for years with cars that SHOULD have been ok but turned out to be real ‘dogs’!…. so you can be delivered of a spirit of ‘naff’ cars! (The car they got, at a ridiculous price, was a late 2003 Saab 93 turbo diesel…)
Funnily enough I was about to e mail you with a Big Thank you for casting out that spirit of naff cars a couple of months ago – since when business has poured in, enabling us to save £4,000 ready to buy a car without finance
We’d felt The Lord was saying to wait until the turn of the year to buy one and on the 3rd January I saw the attached on an internet ad at £3,995!
We saw it on Sunday afternoon and bought it at lunchtime today – we absolutely LOVE IT, as do the girls because it’s got drink-holders in the back seat and electric windows!
In our dealings with the seller we found out it had initially been advertised at £5,500; was about to be sold at that when the potential buyer lost his licence (drink-drive) so the price was reduced, then again to £3,995 as no buyers `cos of the credit crunch -just the right price for us to grab a bargain in fact!
Thankyou Paul and thankyou Lord! – be encouraged mate
We love ya!

The testimony below is from Victor Manuel Soto, from Cali, Colombia. It in his words, with a few English explanations in brackets. Paul met Victor whilst he was in Santillana Hospital, Cali, waiting to see Dr. Dunia Quiroga, to go round the wards praying for the sick. Dunia was so busy that Paul never saw her, but Victor & his family were in the waiting area….
Brother Paul
Please accept my warm greetings in the name of Jesus Christ. (I am) sending photos that attest to the protuberance (different from goiter) that (I) had i (in my throat). His (Paul’s) words in (from) Jesus Christ were: “I don’t know what this is, or as (what) it is called but in the name of Jesus I give you (it) 72 hours to go” … and HE WAS! (IT WENT!!). Other photos are of my wife and my daughter on whom you also ministered and who is still with medical treatment because he had in the past two years, two seizures (convulsions), that is why Dr. Dunia Quiroga, Pediatric Neurosurgeon, was the response.
The naturalness (simplicity) of Christ in the work of his (Paul’s) ministry will continue filling the hearts, and screaming to the nations that Christ is the same yesterday, today and for ever. Lots of blessings. (I offer you my apologies for my English)
With appreciation,

Just thought i`d e mail you and let you know how sam is doing. the wednesday after you prayed for him he was having portage (thats where a trained worker comes to the house and plays with your child to do concentrated work on their weak bits!!!) she had been playing with him for about 10 mins she looked at me and said `its as if some kind of miracle has happened he is trying to speak so much more`……….. i just had to share with her what had happened, that was quite hard as she herself had lost a child with downs who came through all the heart ops but died from lukaemia. she was quite accepting though as she could find no other explanation for sam`s improvements. His speech therapist cant understand what has happened either. He still has a long way to go to catch up with others his age……….but what is huge is that he will try to copy sounds now which he never did before, and i have a peace that he will be ok.

You may or may not remember me, but we met a few times at Detling this year (The one with Gout in my arm!!) Ever since then it has been on my heart to email you as your words, prayers and laughter made such an impression on me.
Since Detling, my Gout has healed up, It took a few weeks and thanks to God it has not returned since.

Thanks for coming to see us the other week, it was a much needed boost for us all. One answer to prayer that I know of is that the little boy Sam who didn’t speak at all is now speaking quite a few words much to every ones delight.
Tim Broom, Wellington, England
I really do appreciate your prayers as I should have told you in my first e-mail that God gave me such a sense of peace after you prayed with me. It had been many years since I had sensed God’s touch on my life in such a tangible way.

You prayed for me last Friday night during your recent visit to Southside, Ayr, and I wanted to say a big “THANK YOU” to you for your faithfulness to God and for coming here. I’m the one who needs the new lungs and I’m believing for that. I’ve felt so much better these last few days and am boring the pants off everyone telling them! Although I still have the symptoms, these have lessened and I have more energy. I’ve had a problem sleeping for about 10 years and although I didn’t share this with you, since Friday I’ve slept like a log for four out of the past five nights – it’s fantastic! Praise God!

Just wanted to tell you. We listened to you in Agape, Stockholm a couple of weeks ago. On sunday, you prayed for a prayercloth which my husbands mother was going to receive. She says: every time her back hurts or her joints in her hands hurt – she put on the cloth and the pain goes so she can sleep. She’s very grateful for the prayercloth.
She’s had nervepain in her back for many years. The doctors say they cant cure her. And now her joints in her hands has begun to lock … (I don’t really know how to explain it). She’s got pain almost every hour of the day.
So I would like you to pray for her – so that all of her pain leave her body. I think that she needs to see healing in her body – it would surely strengthen her faith.
Deborah, Stockholm
Thank you for praying for me when in (Swedish city) . You prayed for a child I’ve asked for who had a brain tumour. A lot of people in Borås do pray for her, since I don’t know her family I can’t really testify about it, but all I can say is thank God, her family fought hard for her and where there first was no hope there is now.
You prayed for me, and I have to admit I was a bit sceptical. I’ve had problems with a syndrome affecting my hormones, periods, ovaries and uterus for the past 20 years. I’ve had numerous tests and ultrasounds, I KNOW what they usually show. A month after you prayed, thank God, I had an appointment with a new doctor. He did the tests again, and lo and behold, they were almost normal, since the doctor had not yet recieved my journals he was sceptical to my description of my problems.
Since you prayed for me I’ve been regular, this time like clockwork. Maybe that sounds like nothing to a guy, but for a woman who basically haven’t experienced that for decades, trust me it’s something.
I ‘ve still got a hard time believing that it might be as good as it seems, but I thank theLord for it as it is now.
So, bless you and thank you

I had major problems with the right foot, for a number of years. The tendons had burst, the ‘fat pad’ between the toes had ruptured, and the arch had fallen. I was not able to walk without support shoes, and then in extreme pain in my foot and my leg. I could not walk without shoes, even in the shower. Friday (18 April) Paul prayed with me, and within minutes amazing sensations were happening in my foot, and I was able to walk, spin on it, and jump. Praise the Lord!!

I thought I would give you an update on my mother, Agnes. I was at the hospital today with her for her check -up. Her blood count is Normal. The doctor said they could not find what had caused the illness and that maybe it was a one off !
Reading between the lines as doctors are bit reluctant to say they don’t know. I think whatever was there has been removed by the Lord when you prayed for her and there is no trace left of anything that caused the blood count to drop so dramatically.
Alan Gouck, Bangor, Northern Ireland (April 2008)
My mother, Agnes, had a serious blood disorder. When she had been taken into hospital ,toward the end of last year ,her blood count was so low that the doctor told her if she had waited any longer on being admitted she would no longer be around. My mother had a telephone call on Friday from her G.P . The doctor had received a letter from the hospital and the Doctor told my Mother ” Her blood Count was Great”.
Alan Gouck, Bangor, Northern Ireland (March 2008)
Hey. Do you wanna know what I did today? I ran up through a long escalator and up some more stairs and 2 more shorter escalators. All in a row!!!!! Sure it took a while for me to catch my breath again. Hardly no pain in the foot, knee, leg. Sure, the back and the hip didnt like that, but they have to get used to it. I’m not stopping!

Ulrika, from Sweden, a long-time Multiple Sclerosis sufferer…
you said yourself that you want to have reports.. I just have to tell you that I just a few minutes ago talked with my friend Ulrika (the one with MS) in the phone and she asked if you had prayed for her. I said that you said you would, so I believe so yes. Then she told me. She have had this “strange feeling” since that day. Today she could stand on one leg and put on her jeans without falling. Then she thought she was gonna be bold and try to spin around on the floor without feeling dizzy or falling. NO PROBLEM! She is so happy about that. Really excited. She thinks that her next step would go driving in a circular (what is it called?). She will drive lap after lap. She couldnt do that before, cause she got so dizzy and naucious. yes she still have her drivinglicence and are allowed to drive. She knows who to thank. GOD! Today she met a friend and she said how “fresh she looked”. Ulrika didnt understand a thing. She have been battling with broncitis, hadnt even taken a shower that morning.. I just laughed when she told me.. told her that other people sees her appearance in a another way than she see.. And she sounded much happier than in a long time..
Anne Lucca, Stockholm, Sweden
Well, yes the appearance is getting better! They’re nearly completely normal now its great! The appointment is at 7.15 tonight so I’ll email you later to let you know how it goes (Im not expecting a reply straightaway or anything!)
Next day update from Jennifer Gouck (two stories down) ahead of a visit to the doctor who tonight will decide whether she needs inserts for non-existent foot arches…
I thought I would give you an update on my family and whats been happening.
My brother – his foot has healed, with regards to his back you had said 2 weeks so I will send you the good news when the 2 weeks are up. My mother had a telephone call on Friday from her G.P . The doctor had received a letter from the hospital and the Doctor told my Mother ” Her blood Count was Great “. As you know it was a very serious blood disorder she had .When she had been taken into hospital ,toward the end of last year ,her blood count was so low that the doctor told her if she had waited any longer on being admitted she would no longer be around.
I expect to hear more good news over the coming weeks and I will pass it on as soon as I can.
Alan Gouck, Towerview Free Methodist Church, Bangor, N. Ireland – Alan’s wife Barbara was wonderfully healed of arthritis in December, and her own story is further down this page… Alan recommitted his life to the Lord as a result of Barbara’s healing!
I hope you remember me..Im Jennifer Gouck (Im Alan and Barbara’s daughter) from Towerview Free Methodist in Bangor? You prayed for my feet?
Well there hasnt been a change in the actual appearance…yet(!!) but I havent had any pain in my knees recently so I praise God for that and thank you for the prayer. I’m really emailing you for is just to ask that you’d keep praying as I have a doctors appointment on Tuesday (18th March) and I dont want to have to go away needing those inserts the doctors have for me!
Jennifer Gouck, Towerview Free Methodist, Bangor, N Ireland – seems like God is on the Gouck family case, huh?!!!
Hey Paul it’s Laura here…you prayed for me on Sunday night at Towerview Free Methodist because i’d pulled all the ligaments in my foot, when i woke up on Monday morning there was a dramatic difference in my foot, I am now able to walk at a normal pace without straining my foot at all! I also don’t need to wear my support for it anymore so thats great! thank you for praying for me!

Andy Putz, from Bangor, Northern Irealnd, photographed 7 March 2008, when realistically he should have been dead some three months ago. Andy suffered from Motor Neurone disease, Parkinson’s disease, and Diabetes: Paul prayed for himin September 08, and saw him again the following Friday, when he’d been to the hospital for a regular checkup. They found NONE of the diseases, and will, at best, even now say that they ‘can’t find them’….

Last Thursday at Bible study we were talking about the day you ministered at Tree of Life, because one of the men there that day received a healing in his knee. You probably recall that he had put a> nail into his kneecap with a nail gun, well he shared last Thursday how the guy from England prayed for him and after 12 years of pain his knee was healed.

Hello Paul
It’s Barbara here. I’m at lunch in work and I have just logged onto your website and was very pleased to see I was mentioned in your blog today.
My husband Alan and I were with you on Sunday past when you came to Towerview Methodist Church in Bangor. Since you prayed for me for relief from the arthritis in my knees I have not had to take any painkillers. My mobility is so much better and the swelling at my knees has started to reduce.
I can’t thank you enough for what you have done for both Alan and myself. Alan was talking to you after the prayer meeting on Tuesday night. This was a big thing for him as due to his anxiety he wouldn’t have dreamt of being able to sit within a group of people without taking tremors in his hands and having a very dry mouth. I have lost count of the number of times I have been left at school events as Alan just couldn’t cope.
I have been telling anyone who will listen about what has happened to me and will continue to do so.
Barbara Gouck , Towerview Free Methodist Church, Bangor, NI
I Praise and thank God for giving me my voice back after having no voice for five months. It was during our church service when Paul Bennison prayed with me that my voice came back immediately. I have had no trouble since and my voice has remained strong since. Also I have been able to testify in the church on 2 occasions to what God has done.
Helen Farmer ,Towerveiw Free Methodist Church Bangor N.I.
I wanted to tell you that one little patient doesn’t need a surgery; because his head is normal now after your prayer. He had a craniosynostosis starting but it no longer continued and his deformity is disapearing.
Dr Dunia Quiroga, Consultant Neurosurgeon, Cali, Colombia, who took me into Club Noel, the children’s hospital as well as numerous other hospitals
Paul we had a divine appointment with you one Sunday in the Free Methodist church in N.I. a month or so ago. You asked how we where when my wife and I first met you at the alter, our reply to you to your surprise was not very good. You could see and feel that was the case. I had had a severe pain in my chest for about 3 years, like a heart attack but 24/7, with a pain level of about 7 out 10 on a twenty four bases. I also had a great pressure on my both shoulders , like someone had me in a bear hug or had a rope around my upper body applying pressure on my shoulders 24/7. We had prayed ,our pastor, friends etc. all had prayed but the pain and pressure still remained. This pain and pressure had all been medically checked out but always with no answers. As we talked and you laid hands on us ,you saw that the devil had placed a huge demon around my neck, this demon was sitting on my shoulders, straddling my head, thus causing the pain and pressure to my shoulders and chest. I’m not sure why this was being aloud and still haven’t found out why but as you prayed and spoke of these things the pressure seemed to start to recede. You told us that with in four days the pain and pressure would be gone and praise God with in those four days it did totally leave not to ever return. You did pray for other things that had been happening in our lives and for our two girls, Praise God for obedient servants. We are hearing of many other people that have been touched by God from your last visit, we’re all looking towards God for more miracles and blessing through your ministry when you come back to Northern Ireland.
Praise God, God is so good,
Doug, Sheila, Rebekah, Beth Johnson, Northern Ireland, Free Methodist Church, Bangor.
Hi Paul!
You probably don’t remember me but we met at West Church, Bangor on the Friday evening of your healing services. Charles, my good friend, introduced us. I had just had surgery following a diagnosis of bowel cancer. You prayed with me focusing on my forthcoming scans which were worrying me greatly. You prayed that the cancer would be taken completely from me. I have now had a full body PET scan and yesterday heard the wonderful news that it is clear. I have one more liver scan on Oct 22nd but have been greatly encouraged by yesterday’s news. The last few weeks, since the scan, have been anxious but I want you to know that in those dark moments, and there were many, I focused greatly on your words to me that Friday evening. Your prayers for my healing never left me, encouraging and reassuring me throughout. I feel truly blessed that God led me to you that Friday evening and that He continues to lead me along a road of recovery. God’s blessings to you in your continued travels and work.

Hi Paul
Just to let you know that Ella’s surgeon said that he thought Ella was a ‘little miracle’ when we went to see him on Thursday. he doesn’t want to see us for 6 months!
Praise the Lord!
See you soon I hope

Hello Paul,
It’s Jen here that you prayed for on the last day with baby Jude (born profoundly deaf). Thanks for your prayers. We took baby Jude for a check up at the hospital today and he was making a response to noises today which hasn’t previously happened!! He is going for a full blown hearing test in September so that will be exciting as he made absolutely no response at his last one and was declared profoundly deaf. I also am off all my painkillers (terminal cancer), two weeks ago I was on opiates and at new wine ( the week before Detling) I came off those and was on paracetamol (I know it sounds pathetic but paracetamol really did make a difference, even when on opiates!) but now I am off all the pain killers and am getting rid of all my “aids” from around the house! So I am very excited about what is happening and will let you know of any other medical stuff. I am getting a lot of hip pain at the moment which I haven’t previously had which isn’t so good! We had a great week at Detling and were grateful for yours and Heidi’s time in praying for us. I have enjoyed reading your blog and have saved it to my favourites so I can keep up to date with your exciting life! Great to hear all the healings! I will keep you up-dated,
Jen, Dave, Ella, Sidney and Jude. (14 August 07)
I have been feeling better and better each week and am now pain free, all I have now is weakness in my back and arms and am able to do so many things now I couldn’t before. Jude is responding to more and more sounds and his big brother actually wakes him up by screaming now which of course we are very grateful for! He goes for a proper hearing test in a few weeks so it will all be clear then. The hospital won’t give me a scan unless I present them with more symptoms, so I’ll have to see how we can check my progress medically, but I’m sure God has it all in hand and I won’t be worrying about it!! I was praising God whilst I was hoovering the other day, something I haven’t been able to do for a long time!
Thanks for your prayers
Jen, Jude & Co (30 August 07)
Just had to tell you this- I arranged to go and see my dad on Wednesday- all ready to offer prayer for healing in light of the disturbing news he’d been getting from the Oncology and Eurology consultants he’d been referred after his Prostate cancer flared up again. I knew he was worried (to put it mildly)- but I hadn’t realised he hadn’t slept properly for 2 months because of how things were progressing– he really believed he was on his way out.
The consultants had sent him for a bone scan and an MRI scan because they feared the cancer had spread, meaning he was left with just 2 options- cryo surgery for which the outcome was very hit and miss or drugs which he understood might prolong his life but as his body/the cancer adjusted to them might give him 2 years at most.
Well I rang him on Tuesday after he got his results back and he was overjoyed and not a little surprised to have been told both scans came back clear!!
Honestly I really had expected the worst and was ready to see him on Wednesday to put my faith in action and to offer him hands on praying, asking God for a miracle.

Hi Paul
Three years on and Colin’s Colitis is still in remission.
The Blood vessel in his brain has caused no problems in the last year. Colin awaits a further M.R.I. scan in June.
We have so much to give thanks for, please continue to uplift Colin in Prayer. I pray day and night.

Great news – my knee is feeling wonderful. I noticed in going up and down the stairs that is doesn’t crack anymore – when I realized it – it brought tears to my eyes and I thought “what have I done to deserve this?” Secondly the young man at Youth Challenge you prayed for the last time you were here that had aids – he went to the doctors and they can’t find it!! God is so wonderful.

Hello Paul: Just a few words to inform you that my niece, the one I asked you to pray for a couple of weeks ago, had a CAT Scan on her head and there was no tumor!!!!!!!!!! Praise the Lord.
My Sister is so very happy. She is now attending an evangelical church in Panama. I want to thank you very much for your prayers.

Sue and I, so much enjoyed renewed fellowship with you, and the Saturday morning seminar. Bonny, whom you prayed for, and who had a congenital intestinal problem is healed! She can now eat all the food she couldn’t eat before, and is rejoicing.

During the summer of 2003, my daughter Cerys and I attended a Christian festival in Detling Kent.. Our wonderful Father had been doing many things in our lives. as well as starting to heal me from the inside following several traumatic events He had started to heal my eyesight, I was either born blind, or blind at early infancy, following many eye operations my sight had improved, but I was still registered partially sighted. So on arriving at Detling to find seminars on healing was an exciting bonus for us, it was our first Christian festival and what a memorable occasion!!!!!!
At this time Cerys had a food intolerance to all dairy products and wheat. If she ate any of these at the very least she would have colic like symptoms, at the worst she had been in hospital twice to be treated for dehydration due to severe sickness. The paediatrician said that she would eventually grow out of this condition, but especially with egg, she may have an intolerance until she was five.
Well Our wonderful Father had other plans! After one of Paul’s seminars on healing I felt a bit of a Holy Spirit nudge to go and get Cerys and ask Paul to pray for her, he did and Praise Jesus she is now totally healed! it took a while for me to have the courage to give her the foods that she may have had a more severe reaction to, but after getting out of the boat and giving her all food, she can now eat all dairy products and wheat!
Paul also said that he felt that my faith would heal me, at the moment every so often it gets a little better, so in God’s time that will be the case, I am really looking forward to being able to apply for HGV/bus driver, air traffic control and commercial pilot training!!!
Nina Montoya, Maidstone, Kent – mum of Cerys – then about 3, with a major intestinal disorder that prevented her eating all dairy produce, healed at Detling Bible Week, Kent 2003
Hi Paul,
You prayed for our 2 year old son Oscar in relation to his possible autism when you were at West church in Bangor recently. We wanted to let you know how Oscar has progressed since then.
We were delighted to see an immediate difference in Oscar’s behaviour on the Sunday after we brought him to see you in church. He was out playing in the garden (he even played with toys!). We firmly believe that Oscar was touched by the holy spirit that Sunday when you placed your hands on his head and said “Oscar Jesus is your friend – be healed in the name of Jesus”. His hearty laughter at that point only ever happens when he is really enjoying himself.
We have noticed the following improvements in his behaviour:
1) Greatly reduced dependence on the TV. Although he still likes to watch it we can now usually turn it off with minimal protest.
2) He is much calmer when the TV is on. He will often now sit in his chair when the tv is on, where before he would jump in a very excited manner in front of the tv.
3) Improved eye contact generally.
Although he still has bad days, he is hugely improved overall. We had a formal review of Oscar’s progress at the hospital recently with the consultant and when I told him that we felt the Lord was healing him, he said that he was a Christian and firmly believed in faith healing. He acknowledged that there is much the medical profession doesn’t know.
Praise the Lord!

Here’s my story!
From 1997 I had suffered from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. For the first couple of years my life practically stopped, I went from working full time in my first job and being involved in a church, to 3 months hardly leaving the house. It was a real battle to do anything and although I returned to working part time it was very difficult and I was in a lot of pain. Over time (and with stubbornness!) I was able to work full time again, but at the cost to the rest of my life. I worked but that was all I had energy for. I had a low immune system, which resulted in me often being ill with a virus etc.
In September 2001 I felt God called me to go to do a DTS with YWAM. I knew that it was not going to be easy for me with my health but I was desperate to change my life. It was the most amazing experience, God so taught, encouraged and blessed me through the experience. I returned home transformed spiritually. However, the experience took it’s toll on my health and I was quite ill during my outreach phase. When I got home in March ’02 I had lost over 2 stone in weight and knew I was exhausted. The following months I was slowly building up my strength again as I waited to learn what God had in store for me next.
In August I met you at Detling and following your prayer I steadily got stronger and stronger each day. As the conference continued I was feeling so much better and my friends remarked that a sparkle had returned! Week by week I continued to improve. By the end of the year I had become a youth leader at my church and was involved in running a drop in youth centre and youth church.
In February I got the job as administrator at Revival Fire Conferences and now work towards making Detling happen each year!! I am the best I can ever remember. I have not been off sick from work for six months now. I just worked 13 days straight, most of those days were 12 hours long and although I am tired, I am not ill. Thank you Jesus. I am amazed when I look back at the last couple of months and everything I have managed to do. God is great!
Thank you Paul for taking the time to pray with me. I look forward to seeing you again soon.

You may remember that after the first seminar (on Monday), you prayed for my healing, my release from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome; then at the final seminar, I shared with everyone that I thought I had been healed. Well, another week on and I am telling everyone I have been healed!
{Just to remind you, can I go back over why we were at Detling in the first place? I had been suffering from CFS for about two and a half years, and had taken early retirement eighteen months ago. At the end of January, I prayed to God for healing – saying I had had enough of this condition – and felt God saying to me “go to Detling” (some friends had been encouraging us to go for some time, and had already given us an application form). So, wishing to be obedient and trusting in His leading – we went! Before going to the Bible week, God had already been working in my life, not only challenging me to change my priorities and some of my attitudes, but earlier in the summer He also healed the heightened sensitivity of my hearing (caused by the CFS) – thereby enabling me to take part in the worship etc at Detling!}
I know God healed me, but thank you for your part, and for the superb series of seminars (if you are in contact, could you please also pass on our thanks to Yvonne – you came to the issue of healing from different experiences, but together your presentations had the perfect balance).
At home group yesterday, I was able to lead the group in our bible study (as is usual, based on Sunday’s sermon). I have not been able to do that for over two years. Many people from our church have been saying “welcome back”! Over the past few days, I have begun to be concerned that I’m feeling tired – but I think I may have been overdoing it (simply because I now can!). And Jean is still wondering how to cope with this “new me”!
I feel I am at the start of a new life – I intend to pray for healing for those who need it whenever I have the opportunity, and I am longing for the time when I do see God’s Spirit healing people regularly. Finally, thank you again for being a part of God’s wonderful plan – and I pray that He continues to bless everything you do in your healing ministry.

Hey Paul
Remember me? You prayed for my normal womanly cycle to be restored and said you believed that God would heal my while I was in Calcutta. That has become a reality. I had one on September 15 for one day and then here in Caluctta exactly a month later. That is the first regular one in over 3 years. Praise the Lord. Thank you for your prayers.

I was 12 when I first noticed there was something wrong with my shoulder but it took ages for the doctors to take me seriously. My favorite subject at school was P.E and I had chosen to study it at G.C.S.E level.
At last the doctors had referred me to my local hospital at Maidstone to see an Orthopaedic consultant. He took a look at my shoulder and said that he had never seen anything like it before and had only ever read about it. He referred me to a top Orthopaedic surgeon in London who had more experience and hoped that he would be able to help.
My shoulder became increasingly painful and would dislocate by itself. I would have to put the joint back in by myself, which became a regular thing. It got so bad that I missed a lot of school and was told the devastating news that I wasn’t allowed to take part in any sport at all. It was hard news for me as my dream job was to be a nurse or paramedic but I would fail the medical. I carried on studying P.E but was only studying the theory side of things. I passed P.E at G.C.S.E. but I felt like my life was on hold. I got a full-time job at Tesco Supermarket, but the job was becoming difficult to do as it was physical work, so they placed me on every department trying to find the work
i was able to do.
I had surgery in December 2000 and it was looking good. physiotherapy was going well. 6mths passed and one day out of the blue my shoulder dislocated again.
I went to a conference where all the new medical students came and examined me. They all found it really exciting as it was a case they had never heard of before.
My shoulder became so bad I couldn’t doing much at all and ended up being on security and customer service at the supermarket, but the hours weren’t much.
I went to Detling and meet Paul Bennison. My friend Anne Hendley (***** VIDEO LINK PLEASE) was healed the year before, she suffered with M.E I told her I had enough of my shoulder. She advised me to go along to one of the seminars. I meet Paul and he prayed with me. Nothing happened so I went back for more!! Paul prayed. I felt different inside and just knew that God was going to heal me but it was a matter of his timing.
I went away with a positive feeling. People a church would ask every week if i had been healed. My reply would be NOT YET!!! I noticed that I wasn’t in any pain at all and knew in my mind that it was better. the dislocation wasn’t as regular and eventually it hadn’t dislocated for 2mths.
January 2003 the hospital in London rang and wanted me to go up and have keyhole surgery in 3 days time. I told my employers and went up straight away.
I had the surgery on my shoulder and because i had it done under local anaesthetic i could watch it on the screen. I will never forget the look on the surgeons face.
“There’s nothing wrong with the shoulder Miss Salt”. I just said ” i know” . He asked me what i was saying and so I told him God had healed my shoulder and I was able to tell a room full of non Christians about my faith and my trust in God.
The funny thing was that when I was 12 and I first met this consultant he asked me what i wanted to do for a profession I told him I wanted to be an evangelist and a paramedic. So I made him a promise that I would travel the world and tell people what GOD had done.
Whilst I was at Detling this year i was able to share my testimony with a massive hall full of people and the BBC news came and interviewed me and my testimony went out on that evening news across the south east and London.
My shoulder was that bad where they placed the pin in that there was hardly any bone there and the joint was being held together with the tendon. I was told after that if I had made one wrong move it would of put me out of action for a long time.
I had to wait 8 years for my healing but it was perfect timing as in June this year I got the job and am now working for the Kent ambulance service and a starting a year bible school next September.

I came forward during the service for Prayer Healing, my son Colin was suffering from severe Ulcerative Colitis and was awaiting tests on his upper Bowel to see if he had Crones Disease.
You took my hand and prayed for the complete healing of Colin’s full bowel, what peace I felt.
The wonderful news is when Colin had his tests on the Wednesday his upper bowel was completely clear and the Ulcerative Colitis in the lower bowel was in remission.
And then…
Three years on and Colin’s Colitis is still in remission. The Blood vessel in his brain has caused no problems in the last year. …

During your visit to West earlier this month both my wife and I went up for prayer for healing. I was the last person you prayed with on the Friday night. I asked for prayer for the skin on my hands and for a ham-string strain, together with my knees (on which I have had cartilages removed from both some 15 – 20 years ago) and other joint pains.
For each of these needs you prayed for creative miracles.
I immediately stopped using my medically prescribed Hand-Cream which I have had to keep applying 24hrs per day (e.g. each time after washing my hands and at other times throughout the day and night). It probably was allergy related. The way I was affected was that the skin on the palms of my hands would dry-up and begin to peel. I saw two consultants before being prescribed the cream which I have used for the last maybe 8 – 10 years. Before I got the prescribed cream I used to wash in the mornings wearing light rubber gloves! As I have mentioned above, I have not used the cream from the moment of prayer. Firstly my hands cried out for moisture (they were very, very dry like the bones in Ezek 37, I guess!!) but I would not use the prescribed cream only normal hand-cream and even then only occasionally. After a few days I noticed the first signs of my skin beginning to break so I prayed again and the holes which had appeared closed over again. The skin on my hands has returned to complete normality now, being able to moisturise themselves without that awful craving sensation for additional moisture. I do continue to use normal moisturising cream from time to time which would never have been sufficient before (indeed would have had no effect on solving the problem).

Yes we would like to have you come to speak at church again. Last Thursday at Bible study we were talking about the day you ministered at Tree of Life, because one of the men there that day received a healing in his knee. You probably recall that he had put a nail into his kneecap with a nail gun, well he shared last Thursday how the guy from England prayed for him and after 12 years of pain his knee was healed.

By now it is a report of an old, skinny lady who came to my place, and after the meeting, the Lord opened her eyes and (she) can see. Also the pain is over, and (she) feels much better. Diego Reyes, Cali, Colombia

As to your question about healing testimonies, here’s mine! I have seen and experienced a super difference in my heart. It hasn’t been hurting and I can do more each day before I have to lay down in bed to let it rest !!! Paul, this is a super strengthening miracle ! I was having heart pains spikes throughout the day even the day and morning you preached at church, also after I got home from your service I still got terribly painful spikes in my heart, but after you visited me Sunday afternoon at my house and prayed over me with laying on of hands the pain has not returned even 1 time! PTL! And I have had a remarkable increase in physical strength to go hours longer thru the day without having to get in bed and just be still until my strength returns. Yes! God remarkably touched me through your healing anointing and keep thanking him with me ! I am so grateful to the Lord for this touch from the Holy Ghost!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Paul, It was so much fun to hear from you! Well, after a 28hour travel disaster, I arrived in California! 🙂 I arrived so late that I missed my doctor’s appointment. I was thinking, ‘ok God you are in control’. I didn’t think that I would have a chance to see my doctor because of the holidays but my mom made an appointment the day after Christmas – which was today!! I went this morning. I was a little bit nervous but was just praying continually. My doctor came in and I told her that I wasn’t taking any of my meds and that I was feeling great!!! I told her that I was sleeping perfectly and doing tons of things that I never would have been able to do before. She touched my back, neck, and shoulders and couldn’t believe it. She was totally shocked and kept saying, “this is incredible, this is amazing.” I told her that God had healed me and was totally taking care of me. She was so excited that she ran into the waiting room to tell my mom how good I was doing! Basically Paul it was the most amazing experience. To be honest, I don’t really think that it has hit me, but my mom cried on the way home from the doctor! She said that this was the best thing that she could ever dream for my life!! My dad just walked in and wants to know how the appointment so I am going to go and tell him. Thanks for all of the prayers! God is soo incredible!! I hope that you had a wonderful Christmas and a have an excellent New Year!

Paul, just wanted to give you a quick update on some great things that are happening.
The lady you prayed for at church (Linda) her eyes were deteriorating from diabetes, and she was to have surgery – she went to the doctors that week after you left and they said they are perfectly normal! No damage to the optic nerve, etc. The doctor said I don’t know who told you had a problem but they are perfect eyes!!!
Also Ann Thomas is still rejoicing with her shoulder being healed.

By the way did you hear that Kathy (the lady who has only become a Christian recently) was so impacted by our evening together that when she got home she was praying and suddenly felt moved to pray for her hands ( she’s been seriously arthritic or similar for years and her hands are locked in a semi closed position). The tips of her fingers immediately went loose and she has gained considerable movement, though not complete yet. She didn’t tell any of us immediately as she couldn’t quite believe it was really happening – but it has. So thank You Lord and thank you Paul for stirring up the gift of faith in Kathy.

I’ve heard some fantastic news this week that I hope will encourage you too! News from people that came to he service you were with us for, has just got through, and there have been some wonderful healings! I was especially thrilled to hear that Catherine, who is a special needs support teacher at Olborough School (where we meet), has been healed of her ME. In fact Dave , who is the school caretaker, and comes to Loose, reckons that he’s praying for the energy to keep up with her now!! Catherine has even had the confidence to try foods again, that used to bring on allergies. Then I heard this morning that Ben’s ear problem that you also prayed for, has cleared up. I think he’s due to see an ENT specialist soon, but his Dad feels that his ear is completely better. So, much to praise God for, It’s just fantastic! And a BIG thank you again for coming to Loose, and for your ministry with us. With love from Anne and Mark.

I wanted to tell you that Monday after you left, Joan – the tall lady at church called, you had prayed for her elbow and the bone spurs and arthritis she had on Sunday. She is totally healed! She was so ecstatic telling me how she had cleaned all day and hung window blinds with a screw driver with no pain at all. Praise the Lord – God is good!!!

You have been in our thoughts and minds. We also talk about you to our leaders and between us. We always say… ” As Paul Bennison said…” and we talk about your teachings, stories and testimonies. Your visit to us has been a tremendous blessing.
If you remember, my eardrum was defeat or broken (how do you say?) . When you told all those testimonies to the students I was touched by God deep in my spirit and I said: Lord, if you did it once you can do it again. And really He did it. You prayed for the students Thursday night and again you prayed for us in our home on Friday, when you left to the airport. On Monday I had appointment with the specialist and he confirmed the miracle. The Lord restored my eardrum. Praise God. The main miracle God worked in each one of us in the evening school was to receive the joy of the first love. There is fire in our hearts again. God bless you abundantly.
